Immenstaad's Lord Mayor Johannes Henne visits ZIM Aircraft Seating GmbH

On Tuesday, Immenstaad Mayor Johannes Henne visited ZIM Aircraft Seating GmbH. He was welcomed by Sven Achilles, managing director of ZIM, and Raffael Rogg, operating partner of the AURELIUS Group.

A company presentation was followed by a joint tour of production with the head of program management at ZIM, Andreas Ulmer, during which Johannes Henne was able to get his own idea of the production processes and the various products at ZIM. Mr. Henne was very interested and was happy to take a seat in ZIM's latest Premium Economy Class seating model.

During his visit, the head of Immenstaad and Markdorf was able to see for himself that ZIM is an innovative and internationally active aviation company that develops and manufactures high-quality and customer-specific aircraft seats for the world's most renowned airlines at its sites in Immenstaad and Markdorf.

“We are pleased that ZIM is moving its headquarters to Immenstaad, thus adding a promising and innovative company to our location. ZIM's high-quality aircraft seats are in demand by airlines across Europe, meaning that the company has excellent prospects in the aircraft seat manufacturer market. In Immenstaad and here in the Lake Constance region, we can be proud of such a company and its internationally renowned products,” said Henne during his visit.

It was a very informative and pleasant morning for both sides, during which they could exchange ideas about the company ZIM and its products, but also about current developments in the aviation industry, how to deal with Covid-19 and expansion opportunities at the Immenstaad site.

We would like to thank Mr. Henne for his visit and look forward to welcoming him to our company in the future as well.
