Program Manager
Your Responsibilities:
As a Program Manager you will manage the activities of product lines, projects and programs involving department and cross functional teams and monitor the program from initiation through delivery. Additional responsibilities include:
- Review Statement of Work (SOW) for program specific requirements. Ensure customer requirements are met and in the best interests of ZIM Aircraft Cabin Solutions by creating baseline plan, and other program management components. Ensures that the cost basis and/or pricing is correct by evaluating resource requirements, performing risk analysis.
- Develop Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for authorized work. Establishes and communicates overall priorities and changing program requirements to functional areas.
- Conduct and chair Integrated Project Team (IPT) meetings, minimum weekly, to review progress and identify issues.
- Participate in Customer chaired meetings to address progress, questions, and concerns.
- Develop, review, and report on Estimates to Complete and at Completion.
- Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation/execution plans.
Your Skills:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable outlining and planning all aspects of work related to a given project such as budget, timelines and teams. They will have strong communication skills that enable them to effectively communicate with all relevant teams. This individual should be able to foresee any problems related to the completion of a project and act in a timely manner to mitigate any issues.
We are looking for reliable candidates with the following:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; and three-to-five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven exceptional customer relationship management
- Developed understanding of project management and related processes
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility with, interact with, and influence suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders in a matrixed organization; ability to build strong relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, especially in the aerospace industry.
- Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders including Senior Leadership
