Following the great success of the first ZIM PC-01 Premium Economy seat product line, SWISS has opted for the new generation of this type of seat, the so-called PC-02 from ZIM Aircraft Seating, for its Boeing 777 Airbus A340 aircraft. Delivery will start in the first quarter of 2022.

The ZIM PC-02 sets new standards in terms of comfort and privacy in the premium economy class. The highly innovative seat features a number of remarkable innovations that improve the overall passenger experience and comfort. The seat has excellent mechanical kinematics, which are surrounded by a fixed backrest shell structure. It also offers significantly more privacy and an integrated privacy screen, which creates more personal space for all passengers. The ZIM PC-02 also offers a variety of other amenities, including individually adjustable armrests, a cocktail table, a one-piece dining table, a personal reading lamp and an extra-large IFE screen.
